Recently the Second Floor also received two stars from the sustainable restaurant association; the report stated?that:
?The restaurant has undertaken numerous sustainability initiatives, such as sourcing fairly traded coffee and chocolate and using free range eggs ? both shell eggs for cooking at the restaurant and requesting they be used in baked goods supplied to the restaurant. The restaurant supports many national and local charities, such as StreetSmart, Age UK and Booth. Staff at the restaurant demonstrated they were aware of the Second Floor?s aims to be energy efficient and conserve water?.
